Jerry Furniss, J.D., MBA, BBA (Accounting), Missoula, Montana:  
Jerry Furniss has more than 25 years experience teaching real estate, law, business and insurance classes and workshops. He has written three books and more than 30 articles in the areas of insurance, law, and real estate, and is full professor of business law at the University of Montana in Missoula.

Jerry has prepared over 10,000 individuals for successful completion of the Securities, Life, Health, and Credit Insurance exams.

JoAnn Clark, CIC, CRM, CISR, CPCU, ARM, ARe, AAI, CPIW, Puyallup, Washington:
After graduating for the Insurance Secretary Program at what is now Plover Park Technical College, JoAnne began her insurance career in 1974 as a Customer Service Representative/Agent in a large independent agency.

In the 36 years since, she has worked on the agency side, regulatory side as a Insurance Education Manager for the Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner and the academic side as the instructor of the Insurance CSR program at Plover Park Technical College.

JoAnn formed JMC Insurance Consulting and Training in 1999. She curriculum and provides customized training for insurance companies, agencies and associations across the United States. Her diverse background and years of experience enable her to bring practical examples and illustration to her presentations.

She is an Education Consultant in Hawaii, Alaska and California for The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. She is a member of The National Faculty for Certified Insurance Counselors, Certified Risk Managers, Intl., and Certified Insurance Service Representatives programs. JoAnn also served on the CISR Board of Governors until 2011.

JoAnn earned her CIC in1981, AAI in 1993, CPCU in 1997, CRM in 2001, ARM in 2001, CISR in 2005, ARe in 2006 and CSRM in 2009.

JoAnn is a member of Insurance Professionals of Tri-cities.

Thomas Sanders, CIC, CPIA, Greenwich, Ohio:
Thomas Sanders' career in insurance dates back to the late 1970's. He started in production with a Life and Health carrier and then started working in the training and marketing department for the same carrier. In 1986 Tom purchase a Property and Casualty agency to complement his Life, Health and Group clients.

In 1994, Tom began instruction for PIA Ohio. In 1999, Tom was awarded the prestigious Jack V. Hedges Educator of the Year by the PIA of Ohio. He also serves on the national faculty for CIC. Currently Tom in president of Sanders Insurance Services, Inc.
